Big Laughs
Amelia got lots of great new toys for Christmas. She finds this "Jingle Bells" playing reindeer particularly funny. She also gets a big thrill out of 'sneaking' into the bathroom to play in the 'off-limits' areas. So when we followed her into the bathroom this evening, she busted into hysterics. I wish I could include sound clips with these photos. She was cracking herself up big time.

Push Car
Amelia got a fun toy from Granny B for her birthday. She is begining to get more enjoyment out of it now. Her feet can reach the ground well enough to scoot herself backwards on the car. Going forwards is a little more difficult. But she is happy to let someone do the pushing for her.

Merry Christmas
Amelia did very well around the Christmas tree up until today. The low hanging ornaments are coming down. Actually the whole tree will be coming down soon enough. We had a wonderful Christmas with Kelly's family. Amelia had a lot of fun playing with Mamalin and Aunt Noelle.

Aunt Noelle
Aunt Noelle arrived today. Amelia was very excited to play with her. Mamalin flew in yesterday afternoon. It is nice to have family visiting for Christmas.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
Amelia got to see snow for the first time (I think) this afternoon. I'm pretty sure we didn't have any snow last year. Anyway, snow is falling all around town. It is very pretty. The winds have been blowing hard all day. Luckily we ran all of errands early today and were home before the white stuff showed up this afternoon. The weatherman says it is not going last long or amount to enough to make a good snowman. But it is exciting nonetheless.

Big Gloves
Amelia is learning how to deal with the cold weather we are having. Mom's gloves are exactly what she needed.

Amelia Claus Returns
Ho ho ho... Just when you thought it was safe to put gifts under the tree or decorate a Christmas tree at all... She's back. We had fun posing for our Christmas card photos today. Amelia was in a good mood and very glad to be the center of attention.

Bundled Up
It's been quite cold lately. All week the wind was blowing and making it difficult to even think about going outside. But today it was calm. So we put on several layers to combat the temperature and headed out for a ride in the stroller. It was fun to see all the decorated houses and breathe a little frosty air. I think Amelia enjoyed showing off her new winter hat and mittens.

Glowing Duck
Amelia celebrated her birthday again with her friends and family tonight. She had a blast playing with everyone. She got so many thoughtful gifts including an adorable pink backpack with a doll holding pocket on the back and a facinating new rubber duck. It flashes all sorts of colors. Amelia was absolutely giddy with excitement.
