Chomp!

We've been giving Amelia pieces of cut-up apples and bananas lately. She loves bananas. Apples, not so much... Until tonight. Amelia was not really aware that the object which she so desperately wanted and furiously pointed at on the counter was edible. But it didn't take her long to figure it out. What a fun surprise to discover tonight's new toy was also food. Maybe apples taste better this way.

Baby Got a New Pair of Shoes

No more soft-footed booties for this girl. Amelia's ready to take on the world in her fancy new footwear. Momma got this little cruiser moving with style in her hip green walking shoes (and a black pair too, of course).

Mmmmm Corn.

Do I have something stuck in my teeth? Amelia received some fun fake fruit and vegetables to put in her shopping cart for Valentines Day. I know it's early. But we got Granny B's blessing to open up the gift when it arrived. She has been haming it up all day with these new toys. The cardboard box and packing bubbles it came in provided quite a bit of entertainment too.

Diaper Dance

Amelia thinks it's pretty fun to run around in her diaper, especially when it's bedtime. She can get very wound up by trying to avoid winding down. She is getting pretty good with those feet too.

Cowgirl

We went to our friends Sally & David's house to watch the Super Bowl this year. While most of the grown-ups were watching football on the big screen, the youngsters were having fun playing in the other room. Amelia was shy for the first half of the game and stayed close-by to her parents. But eventually she ventured out to see what the other kids were up too. Someone brought out Sophie's cowgirl hat and before long we discovered a new sheriff in our midst.
