Swinging and Sliding

After running errands, going to several open houses, two naps and a nail clipping session we finally made our way to the park. The weather was so nice today. It would have been a shame not to. Amelia enjoyed climbing on the play structure, riding on the see-saw, swinging and sliding. With the recent onset of nice weather we have also started a new nightly routine of walking with Amelia around the block. She really likes to go for walks. The hardest thing is making her hold our hands. She wants take off running if she gets a chance. She is really acting more like a big girl everyday... but she also still holds tight to her stuborn colic baby roots.

Easter Treats

No that is not the look of shock nor surprise. If you notice the hand holding the open plastic easter egg in the bottom of the photo you'll realize the expression Amelia has on her face is not an expression at all. She is merely shoving as many goldfish crackers into her mouth as she can with one hand. We had a great Easter breakfast with Eric, Treasure, Fletcher and Momalin today. Amelia and Fletch "hunted" eggs on the hardwoods. Then they feasted on the baby friendly goodies inside select eggs.

Wha'choo talkin' 'bout, Dada?

Amelia was debuting a new argyle "Easter" dress this morning. So I had to go find the camera (after several weeks of absence). We have been very busy lately. We are currently in the process of buying a new house and keeping our current home in spotless condition so we can get it sold. It went on the market Tuesday after many late nights of detail fix-ups and de-cluttering. We managed to make a sizable list of small projects that we didn't quite get to before we suddenly decided to buy a new home. Somehow we were able to complete most of them before the realtor signpost went in the ground. Now we are just waiting and trying to keep everything nice and neat around here while potential buyers are touring the house. Hopefully we will get an offer soon and we can exhale.
