Photobooth
The J5 clan came for a visit this weekend. It was great to have company around to play with and test out the new photobooth we had installed in the living room. Amelia insisted that Josh sit right next to her on the small stepstool turned photo-bench for the first session.

A Place To Color
We recently got a small table and set of chairs for Amelia. She enjoys coloring at the table. But she also likes pushing the chairs around until she gets just the right configuration to express her own personal feng shui.

Bear Style
Our neighbors brought back an awesome bear knit hat for Amelia from their recent trip to Yosemite. She thinks it is really grrrreat. I have to agree.
This morning Amelia treated us to a demonstration of a new southpaw piano method she is developing. She loves to bang out the notes on her fancy red piano. She recently decided that the footstool makes a nice piano bench.

Interpretive Dance
Amelia sometimes knows what she wants and trys hard to tell you in her own unique language. Sometimes she hears a word she recognizes and repeats it several times. And often it is a little of both combined with a few dance moves. This is our let's go for a drive dance (as long as there are snacks and water for the road).

Have A Good Trip
Mama had to take a business trip this weekend. So Amelia and I enjoyed lots of father-daughter time alone. We ran lots of errands, took several wagon rides and found a bargain toy lawn mower at our friend's garage sale.

Everything That Rolls
Amelia had a lot of fun playing with the neighbors today. First she tried out a new look by sporting Tabatha's prize glasses. I don't think that style is going to catch on.
After exhausting her new fashion ideas, it was time to test drive some cars. Everything the neighbors had in the garage had to be riden. First up was the red push car. With much enthusiam Amelia took out down the street.
But after blowing out the engine she decided it was better to pull it back to the garage and try something else.
The pink car was fun and came with just the right size soccer ball.
She gave the BMW a quick once around the driveway even though she knew it was out of her league.
Finally she and Tabatha both decided to try the Ketler trike together. But they were soon shocked by the news it was time to put the vehicles away and go home for lunch.
