Family of Bugs

Amelia was pretty shy and clingy at the office gathering this year. But a frosted cookie help make it a little better. Luckily today she decided her costume was pretty cool and did not want to take it off until it was close to bedtime.

TaaaaDaaaa

We managed to get the ladybug costume on through the use excessive compliments and using Amelia's urge to impress her friend Sarah to our advantage. She loves rains boots. So borrowing Tabatha's ladybug boots also helped build her enthusiam for getting dressed. Plus they perfectly complete the ensemble. Now if we could just get both antennae to stay up for the pictures... I guess you can only hope for so many things to go right at one time.

More Mouse Ears

Even though I just posted a picture with the mouse ears, I couldn't resist adding this one. Too cute.

M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E

Our friend Leslee brought back the best Disneyland souvenir for Amelia. It even has her name stitched on the back. Thanks Leslee. Amelia doesn't realize they are mouse ears. She thinks she is a lion. But she always thinks she is a lion. Rrrroar!

Oh...No Mama. You Do It Like This!

I can only guess that Amelia is excited about Halloween coming. She's been showing us her monster face a lot lately. We're pretty sure she learned this new trick at daycare.

Holiday At Home

Amelia and I had the day off today on account of our federally instituted break... Columbus Day. It is for sure one of the least celebrated official days of respite. We had fun playing and not really thinking about the significance of Columbus. Kinda like every other holiday.
