CLASS POLICIES
MY GUIDING PRINCIPLE: Treat my class like it is your job
(a job that you really like and want to succeed in).
Attendance
Email your instructor prior to missing class.
Quizes, exams and in-class activities can not be made up if you do not make arrangements with your instructor prior to your absence.
Complete your weekly assignments on time to earn full credit for class attendance each week.
Professional Conduct
Classroom access is allowed ONLY to students enrolled in current term graphic design classes.
Classroom computers, printers and copiers are ONLY for graphic design program class work.
Class time is for working on the class projects, exercises, and activities of this class ONLY.
No email, social media, cell phone, or mobile communication use during class time.
No working on personal laptop computers near computer stations.
Use of the PCC file naming system is required for the initial creation of EVERY file.
In order to earn a passing grade, projects must be original work created during the term and not plagiarized, nor directly resemble currently published work.
Shared Environment
Concentration is expected of all students.
Do not distract the other students with personal conversations, etc.
Any classroom distraction may result in a request by the instructor for a student to leave the class.
Pick up after yourself.
Put paper in the recycling or trash.
Log out of your computer work station when class is over.
Push in your chair as you leave the class.
